Point & Shoot film Camera | Sharp Lens, Ready to Shoot kit | Autofocus, flash, and a 38mm 1:1.28 lens. All models come with intact light seals. This version is just like AF-2 but with the Date function on top.

The lens is sharp, with an F-stop as low as 2.8. The viewfinder is bright and has strong lines to frame. The shutter can focus lock with a half-press of the button. The autofocus uses an infrared beam to determine the focus and works well.

It's boxy and clean cut. The old-school elements and sharp edges keep it nostalgic but the dark plastic and rays of silver around keep it modern-looking. It's sleek, but not over the top. It looks good on a shelf, but it's not too braggy.

Jeb of CasualPhotopile says this;

"The tiny 38mm f/2.8 lens, with its basic four elements in three groups optical design represents all the best characteristics of Minolta’s legendary engineering and dedication to fine glass production. Sharpness, color saturation, and micro contrast are all fantastic. Color images boast vivid saturation and black and white shots benefit from the lens’ strong contrast."
